Prior to transferring to Nellis Air Force Base in 2011, he completed his fellowship in Endocrinology at San Antonio Military Medical Consortium. Dr. Vernetti is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism. Dr. Vernetti is a member of the National Osteoporosis Foundation and Endocrine Society. He treats a full spectrum of endocrine disorders, with a particular interest in thyroid, pituitary disorders and osteoporosis.

She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), is an oncology certified nurse, and holds a research certification as a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP).
